Inspiring and Empowering Middle School Girls

Rochelle Manns

Rochelle Manns has built a successful career in Information Technology and a Home Décor business by seeing and doing things differently. Fearless by nature Rochelle navigated the challenges of being black female in IT, to become a sought-after leader specializing in creating and growing new lines of revenue for organizations. Her entrepreneurial spirit and uncanny ability to learn the operations of just about any business led Rochelle to securing a US Design Patent  for home fragrance product. The launch of her branded reed diffusers, MelroseFields, led to her jumping into the retail business with the opening of Altered Decor 3 ½ years ago.  As Rochelle builds a multi-million dollar cloud practice working for a tech company you can find her on the weekends at Altered Décor where she still handmakes all of the reed diffusers, pots plants and creates custom artificial arrangements. Rochelle’s next big goal is to open a San Diego chapter of 4Girls, a non-profit that empowers middle school girls.
